Quick Tip – Save Regularly

Ever had one of those moments when you have been working hard all day on a spreadsheet and your boss/client needs it by close of business and just as you are tidying things up and just about to hit the save button and… whoosh – something totally unexpected happens and your computer loses power or shuts down or (insert multiple other scenarios here…) and “Arghhhhh!!!!” – you have lost all your hard work!!! If only you had been regularly saving it.

I speak from experience, as I have had this (and other scenarios) happen to me a couple of times (can sometimes take me a little while to learn a lesson…), but not any longer. With a quick and simple keyboard shortcut, Ctrl + S, your spreadsheet is saved and if the unexpected does occur, at least you haven’t lost a whole days worth of work…
